Welcome to the Red Rose Land Rover Club website.

A very Happy New Year to all Members of Red Rose Land Rover Club

DC100 - the new Defender
Have you seen the Defender replacement? Go to the Land Rover web page for more pictures and videos - I wonder how long it will before we get one turning up at a trial? Perhaps I`ll contact Land Rover and suggest they come along to an RTV and see how it gets on next to our Defenders - never mind running it up and down a Californian beach!

The details for the 2012 National trial are now available with dates confirmed for the long Bank Holiday Weekend in June. Full details are available from the website dedicated to the event; http://www.alrc2012.co.uk/

For 2012 we will be returning the War of the Roses dates to their more normal date at the End of June/Start of July with the War on Sunday 1st July

There have been a few important rule changes made at the ALRC recently, effective from 1/1/2012 (For those that don`t know, we run under the rules of the ALRC) these are;
1)Any gear ratio may be used
2)Crown wheel slipper pads or pegs may be used
3)High ratio steering boxes may be used
4)A non standard air to air intercooler is permitted
5)Remote damper reservoirs must be isolated from the driver/passenger compartment and must be shielded from marshalls /spectators.

Check out the EVENTS and the NEWS pages for other events and happenings in the world of Landrovers.

We hope that you will find all of the information on this site to be helpful and informative, whether you are a club member seeking out the next trial date and location ( - see the "Club Events" page, by the way) or have had no previous contact with Red Rose Land Rover Club, but share our passion for all things Land Rover (and if you do why haven`t you joined the club?).
Please feel free to browse our site and to add it as a link on your site if you wish.
If you experience any problems, broken links or missing pages, please let us know by e-mail at the address shown at the bottom of this page and we will endeavour to fix it.

The Red Rose Landrover Club holds many events throughout the year in the North West of England for the benefit of club members, whether they are interested in Caravaning Weekends (often on private sites), Shows (such as Myerscough Country Show, Darwen Gala or Woodvale Rally), Fund Raisers (anyone fancy driving off road from one end of the country to the other (- too late it`s been done)? and Off Road Trials (for all types of Land Rovers from new Freelanders to Winch Equipped Hybrid Specials).
The club has two chosen charities which it supports throughout the year - These are Derian House and the North West Air Ambulance.

If there is any other activity that you want the club to provide, that isn`t already catered for, (NO! - not Rambling) why not put it forward for our illustrious (?) committee to discuss.
Any club is only as good as its members, so please help it to be one of the best by getting involved, instead of sitting back and letting others do all the work.

You will also find a forum linked from the site on which you will be able to discuss anything to do with Land Rovers or Red Rose Land Rover Club with other club members or visitors.

If you are not a member but are interested in joining Red Rose Land Rover Club, please drop an e-mail to the web site address and we will send you more details and an application form by return.
